Originally a family home, James Terry Court was converted and taken over by the RMBI in 1980. It has retained its homely atmosphere and is surrounded by beautiful gardens.
The Home has recently undergone a new build providing the most modern of care home facilities and exceeding all the latest government guidelines and legislation on size, accessibility and facilities.
The new East Wing facilities includes up to 48 bed-sitting rooms with large communal areas providing 20 residential rooms, 20 rooms for nursing care and 8 rooms for dementia care. The Wing includes full en-suite wet rooms and ceiling hoists in large spacious bedrooms. The new West Wing provides a further 28 bedrooms.
The refurbishment will be complete when the original house has been remodeled and refurbished to provide independent living flats.
The Home has received a national award recognising their Gold Standard end of life care.
