CRIBBAGE TOURNAMENT - 15-2, 15-4, 15-6 and a pair is 8.....when was the last time you played cribbage? Never played before, but want to? Then come along and learn. All are welcome. Corinthian Lodge are hosting the event on Sunday 17th July at Surbiton Masonic Hall. The cost to enter will include a buffet lunch and sponsorship form. Redwood Lodge Hog Roast – Redwood Lodge No.3411 have decided to put on a hog roast at The Eight Bells pub, 78 Kingston Road, Ewell as part of the 'Big Week' in aid of the Surrey 2019 Festival.

This will be held on Saturday 23rd July 2016. All will be welcome with all proceeds going to the 2019 festival. I have just ordered the tickets, so that we can start taking in bookings immediately. Ticket are £10 a head for the hog roast and each ticket will go into a draw  for a special prize.

Sponsored Cycle – Bro. Stephen Farrell will be attempting a sponsored solo Cycle ride around Surrey during the ‘Big Week’. Over the weekend of the 23-24th July 2016 Stephen will start from Oakfield Road, Croydon on Saturday morning and cycle to all the main Masonic Centres in Surrey visiting Nutfield, Cranleigh, Godalming, Farnham, Guildford, Bisley, Camberley, Chertsey, Surbiton, Sutton and finishing up back in Croydon on Sunday evening. Golf Tournament – Another great event from the Surrey Masonic Sports Association
is to be held on Friday 22nd July 2016 and is a Golf Tournament taking place at Farleigh Golf

Afternoon tea – The Nutfield Branch of the Surrey Masonic Widows Association cordially invite you to a Traditional Afternoon Tea Party at Nutfield Lodge, Nutfield Road, Nutfield, Surrey, RH1 4ED on Sunday the 17th July 2016 from 2pm to 5pm. Featuring singing from the Rock Choir, Home Made Cakes, A Bumper Raffle, Craft and many other stalls. All in aid of the Big Week and the Surrey 2019 Festival.

Achievement Hog Roast – The Croydon Lodge of Achievement are hosting a Hog Roast & Family Fun Day in support of the Big Week. The event is on the 3rd July 2016 at 2pm.

Race Night at Sutton – The Sutton and District Masonic Lodge's Association present 'A Night at the Races' for the Big Week.

Racing starts 7:30pm on the 1st July 2016 at the Sutton Masonic Centre. The cost is £20 per person which includes ownership of one horse and a chicken curry.

PAY TO PITCH – CAMPING NIGHT – Have you ever fancied spending a night out camping under the stars, sitting round the camp fire and partaking in some good old fashioned outdoor activities, then you can join members of Shirley Park Lodge and members of a local Scout group at the Nutfield Masonic Centre on Saturday 23rd July. LONDON UNDERGROUND TREASURE HUNT - Claremont Lodge No.1861 is planning a treasure hunt for its members on the London Underground taking in some of the sites across the capital whilst collecting items, selfies and cracking a station-related quiz on-route. It's planned for the 3rd July before the BIG WEEK itself and is hoped that if successful will be available for other lodges to use. It will start at a central location and finish at a restaurant near Grand Lodge for lunch and token prize giving, however participation and enjoyment is more the order of the day that winning and if anyone is late nobody's going to "MIND THE GAP". Up close with the Emergency Services – Members of Harmony and Progress Lodge and Bisley Lodge have teamed up with the Godalming Masonic Centre to host an day of fun and information with our emergency services. Starting at 10am there will be various Fire Engines, ambulances and police cars in attendance. Why not come down and have a fun time. The event will take place on the 9th July from 10am until 4pm.
